How to Refer a Sailor and score perks!
Submit your email to get your share link. When your mates book their first voyage, you'll both earn $150 in free drinks.
- Refer a New Sailor — Previously sailed on a Virgin Voyage? Submit your Sailor email, receive a share link, then send it to your crew (friends who’ve never sailed with us).
- Give $150, Get $150 — Once your friend confirms their details and books a new voyage, they’ll get $150 in free drinks to purchase specialty beverages on their cruise.
- Redeem Your Reward — When their voyage date is 45 days away, you’ll receive an email with an Access Key used to redeem $150 in free drinks on your next voyage.

Earning free drinks is easy. The more Sailors you refer, the more free drinks you'll receive on every new sailing you book.
Refer a Sailor is our way of rewarding our Sailors for sharing the joy of voyaging with friends and family. When you refer a Sailor who has never sailed with us before and they book a voyage, both of you will receive a $150 Bar Tab to kick off your next adventures in style.
Yes, to participate in the Refer a Sailor program, you must have completed at least one (1) eligible voyage. Eligible voyages include paid revenue sailings. Voyages such as charters, First Mate Voyages, free voyage fare sailings, Voyage Vacation Program (VVP) voyages, and sweepstakes voyages do not qualify.
There’s no limit to how many friends you can refer! Keep in mind, you can earn up to a $300 Bar Tab per voyage (that’s the equivalent of two referrals per voyage).
Once you or your referred friend receive the $150 Bar Tab, you’ll have 12 months to book your voyage.
