Send Sailors cruising into 2025 with a New Year’s Eve voyage through the Caribbean.

Meet 2025 head-on, champagne in hand.

New Year’s Eve at Sea

New Year's Eve can be fraught — in addition to a year’s worth of memories to recap, there’s another year’s worth of resolutions to make. But at the end of December, we’re offering Sailors a chance to shake off the sense of dread and celebrate the transition to a bright new year, all in the gorgeous setting of the Caribbean.

Our New Year’s celebration is fleetwide this year, with Scarlet and Valiant Ladies hitting the Caribbean from the Miami end, both making stops at Virgin’s exclusive Beach Club at Bimini. Valiant New Year’s Ahoy is a quick and easy 4-night option for those looking to get back to land and start taking their new year in hand right away. Scarlet New Year’s Ahoy is a more leisurely 8-night option, making stops in Puerto Plata, San Juan, and St. Croix before cruising into Bimini and home to Miami. Last but not least, Resilient Lady is doing her thing from our new home port in San Juan, with a 7-night voyage through the southern end of the Caribbean that we’re calling — you guessed it — Resilient New Year’s Ahoy.

364 days out of the year, we embrace a come-as-you-are, dress-how-you-want onboard lifestyle. But for New Year’s Eve, we’re doing something different and asking Sailors to go toe to toe with the gorgeous Caribbean surroundings. Tell them to show up in their finest (whatever that means to them) and ring in the New Year with an extra dash of allure. And to hold up our end of the bargain, we’ll show up at our finest — meaning that we’re opening an espresso martini bar, offering one-time-only menus and a photo booth to capture the memories, doing live music all over the ship, and more.

We’re here to help with your New Year’s Resolutions, too

The only thing tougher than coming up with good New Year’s resolutions is actually fulfilling them. There are the classics: get in shape, eat healthy, make new friends. Then there are some for the more adventurous: get outside your comfort zone, visit a new country, conquer a fear, allow yourself to indulge. No matter what your Sailors’ resolution might be, we’ve got it covered.

If it’s a healthier lifestyle in 2025, our free group workout classes — including sunrise yoga — are the perfect way to kickstart their new year the right way. They can spend their mornings on board running around the track and playing basketball, and their evenings enjoying our healthy menu items and mocktails. They can treat themselves to a massage or facial at Redemption Spa. If, on the other hand, their normal routine is pretty healthy, and they need a push to embrace a little decadence, we’re prepared to offer them a full-on shove. Dive into late-night room service snacks with Ship Eats. They’ll meet new friends and throw back soju shots at Gunbae, our Korean BBQ, and face performance anxiety by belting a ballad at The Groupie karaoke lounge. For travel newbies and intrepid voyagers alike, our Shore Things activities on land will help scratch their itch for adventure. Whatever their resolution might be, a New Year’s Eve cruise with VV is the best way to get a jump on it.

Always Included Luxury adds an extra touch of luxe to our already-dazzling NYE plans

Yes, we offer Always Included Luxury year-round on all our sailings, because we don’t think it’s cute to invite people on board and then trick them into spending money they didn’t think they’d have to. But an added advantage of Always Included Luxury is that we’re sparing Sailors the stress of the usual New Year's planning. Want a romantic New Year’s Eve dinner? Easy, we have six sit-down restaurants with top-tier menus. Feel like ringing in the New Year with some unforgettable nightlife? The Manor nightclub is cover-free and line-free. Want to FaceTime loved ones on land to wish them a Happy New Year? WiFi is included. Itching to get a head start on their resolutions with a fitness class? We’ve got free group workouts on tap throughout the voyage.

For Sailors who believe that New Year’s Day sets the standard for the 364 days that follow, we raise a glass and toast — to an unforgettable start to 2025.
