1. Overview: This document sets out the terms and conditions of the exclusive discount being made available to customers of Virgin Money, the Bank of Queensland and ME Bank (Terms & Conditions). If you take any steps to claim, redeem or use the 50% discount (Discount) that is part of this promotion, then you are deemed to have accepted these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree to these Terms & Conditions, you should not take any steps to claim, redeem or use the Discount.
2. Discount details: The Discount may be applied to the base price of a Sea Terrace META cabin on an Eligible Voyage (see paragraph 3 below) booked during the Booking Period (see paragraph 4 below). The base price of a voyage is the amount payable for a voyage exclusive of all taxes and/or fees, transfers, shore excursions (that is, “Shore Things” in our marketing parlance) or any other add-ons. The Discount will be applied before any combinable discounts and is subject to these Terms & Conditions.
3. Eligible Voyages: An Eligible Voyage is a new booking made during the Booking Period for a stay in a Sea Terrace meta-category cabin (except for Lock-it-in Sea Terrace cabins) on one of the following voyages (subject to availability):
All persons sailing on an Eligible Voyage must be 18 years or older on the date of departure. The Discount is not eligible for charter voyages.
4. Booking Period: 09:00:01am AEDT on 14 December 2023 to 11:59:59pm AEDT on 28 December 2023.
5. Discount Combinability: The Discount is not combinable with any other promotional offer, including any existing Bar Tab promotions, My Next Virgin Voyage program, Circle Program Benefits, $200 Survey Sailor Loot benefit, Net Rates, or other Reduced Rate Access Key programs.
6. Using the Discount: To obtain the Discount, eligible Virgin Money Australia subscribers will be sent an access key (and applicable access key terms and conditions) that provides for the Discount when booking an Eligible Voyage (Access Key). At the time of booking an Eligible Voyage on the Virgin Voyages website, you must enter the Access Key in the space provided prior to paying for the Eligible Voyage. Subject to these Terms & Conditions, the Discount will be applied to the base price of the Eligible Voyage, following which you must pay the discounted price for the Eligible Voyage in accordance with the instructions provided on the website.
7. Booking terms and conditions: A booking of an Eligible Voyage is subject to all applicable terms and condition provided at the time of booking, including the Ticket Contract (https://www.virginvoyages.com/ticket-contract) and the Additional Terms & Condition (https://www.virginvoyages.com/addl-terms-and-conditions), including the applicable cancellation policies.
8. Booking changes: If any change to a booking made using the Access Key causes the booking to cease to be for an Eligible Voyage, the Access KeyAccess Key and associated Discount will be forfeited and you will be responsible for the cost of the re-booked voyage, plus applicable taxes, fees, surcharges and re-booking fees.
9. Access Keys: You are solely responsible for ensuring your contact details (including your email address) are correct. An Access Key must not be distributed or shared with any person. An Access Key is not exchangeable, transferable or redeemable for cash. Virgin Voyages does not warrant that the redemption mechanism will be available at all times during the Booking Period. There may be periods during which use of an Access Key and redemption of the Discount is unavailable.
10. Disqualification: Virgin Voyages reserves the right to disqualify from the promotion any person who fails to comply with these Terms & Conditions. To the extent permitted by applicable law, in the event of a dispute concerning the conduct of the promotion or the use (or attempted use) of an Access Key, the decision of Virgin Voyages is final.
11. Amendments: Virgin Voyages may suspend or terminate this promotion at any time, and may amend or vary these Terms & Conditions from time to time, in each instance where it is necessary for Virgin Voyages to do so (including, without limitation, if required by a state or territory gaming authority or otherwise permitted by applicable law). The current version of these Terms & Conditions will be available from Virgin Voyages during the Booking Period. Any new or amended Terms & Conditions will apply from the date they are posted on Virgin Voyages website.
12. Disclaimer: Virgin Voyages and its associated agencies and companies will not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense, damage, personal injury or death which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person's negligence or wilful misconduct) in connection with any element of this promotion or use of the Discount or the Access Keyan Access Key, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law).
13. General:
a) If for any reason any aspect of this promotion is not capable of running as planned, including by reason of computer virus, communications network failure, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failure, regulatory constraints or any cause beyond the control of Virgin Voyages, Virgin Voyages may, in its sole discretion and subject to any applicable law, cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend this promotion and/or any element of the promotion (including but not limited to the availability or rate of the Discount).
b) Virgin Voyages may, at its absolute discretion, cancel or terminate any person’s participation in this promotion (including by cancelling an Access Key or any booking made using an Access Key) if Virgin Voyages reasonably believes or considers that the person has: (i) tampered with, or benefitted from any tampering with, the operation of this promotion; (ii) acted in a disruptive manner or acted with the intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person; or (iii) engaged in conduct in participating in the promotion or redeeming an Access Key that is fraudulent, misleading, deceptive or generally damaging to the goodwill or reputation of the promotion and/or Virgin Voyages.
c) Failure by Virgin Voyages to enforce any of its rights under these Terms & Conditions at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
