How can I change or upgrade my cabin?
Your cabin category may be changed (up or down) up to 46 days before your voyage. Just give our Sailor Services Crew or your travel partner a shout, and we'll be happy to accommodate. Please keep in mind that any changes may result in a fare increase.
You’ll also have the opportunity to upgrade your booking by making an offer (or bid) through our Level Upgrade program. From 45 days before your voyage, you can still upgrade your cabin based on availability, all the way up to 48 hours before sailing.

Does Virgin Voyages offer plans to split payments into monthly installments?
At Virgin Voyages, we are partnering with Flexpay to provide access to a flexible, pay-over-time financing solution to allow our Sailors the most accessible and affordable options to voyage with us. Sailors can easily apply through Flexpay to pay for their voyage including all associated costs like add-ons and extras such as Voyage Protection and Shore Things. Please visit our Flexpay page for more information about how you can apply.
What is Virgin Voyages' cancellation policy?
Our cancellation policy was created to provide a better experience for our Sailors. Here's everything you need to know:
If you’re booking more than 120 days prior to the start of the voyage, you have a 7-day grace period to request a full refund on your deposit and any other payments made. Refunds will be issued to your original form of payment.
After the 7-day grace period (but still before the 120-day window), you can receive a full refund on any payments, excluding your deposit. For your deposit, you will receive Future Voyage Credit at this time.
Between 119 and 45 days, any funds paid will be converted to Future Voyage Credit (FVC), good to use on any voyage 1 year from the original voyage start date. Sweet deal, huh?
Once you’re within 44 days of your voyage, all funds paid are final. But you do have the option to send someone else in your place up to 48 hours before your voyage if you really can't sail. Please note that taxes and fees will be refunded regardless of when the booking is canceled.
Please note, from time to time, your travel agency/First Mate may repackage your voyage with other travel arrangements such as flights, hotels etc, and subsequently act as a tour operator. Please note these policies do not apply to tour operator bookings. Please speak to your tour operator/First Mate for further information.
Have more questions? No worries. Our Sailor Services Crew or your travel agent can help walk you through the process. As always, we recommend you purchase our Voyage Protection.

What is Bar Tab and how does it work?
Bar Tab is Sailor Loot (AKA onboard credit) that’s pre-purchased to spend on premium beverages all around our lady ships and at The Beach Club at Bimini. The best part? For every Bar Tab purchased, you get an extra amount added, on us. Get some cocktails on the house or in this case, ship. Like most of our Sailor Loot, unused Bar Tab credit is not refundable at the end of a voyage, so drink up or feel free to share with a friend - or two!
At what time should I arrive for my voyage?
In the Virgin Voyages app, Sailors can check in prior to their voyage and select a Terminal Arrival Time. Our vessel will set sail at the time listed and will depart in a timely manner. That means on the dot.
Ready to lock in that voyage?
